Foday Kabba



A native of Sierra Leone, Gambia, and Guinea, Foday was born in Sierra Leone to parents from Gambia (father) and Guinea (mother). He currently resides in Portland, OR where he has called home for the past 15 years. Foday attended Gonzaga University and had a successful employment stint at Liberty Mutual before starting Kalabash, Inc.

Kalabash, Inc. was started as a quest to give back to a region in desperate need and one that had shaped and given him so much. The goal is to ensure communities have the opportunity to participate in a meaningful education, sporting, fitness, and wellness experience.

Nathan Pogue grew up on the Oregon Coast and attended college at Trinity Western University in Canada. After spending time working overseas in South Korea, Nathan fulfilled his dream of becoming a lawyer and graduated from Lewis and Clark law school in Portland, Oregon. While in school, Nathan was a finalist in Willamette’s oral appellate competition and has successfully transferred those skills to his practice today.

Currently teaching and developing methodology to enhance the online user experiences in courses such as Project Management and Information and Organizations at Portland State University.

Currently she continues to develop partnerships with business, government, and other related educational institutions. These partnerships involve brokering faculty expertise and developing sponsored student internships which optimize career placements with corporations.

John Salas, CPA graduated with honors from Oregon State University in 1998. He majored in business administration with concentrations in accounting.


John was the managing Shareholder at  Leek and Associates, P.C. heading up tax compliance and planning services before merging his firm in 2015. Don provides his clients with proactive tax advice and leverages his years of experience as a tax practitioner.

Abdul Koroma

A consultant who acts as labor relations specialist or customer service specialist for organizations entering new markets. Abdul is responsible for facilitating communication among groups or individuals with linguistic or cultural differences that are employees of an organization, or individuals that are served by that organization.
